Partick Housing Association unveils school revamp plans
Partick Housing Association has submitted plans to transform a former Glasgow school into 60 new flats.
Designed by Collective Architecture, the £8 million redevelopment of the former St Peter’s School on Chancellor Street will provide a mix of 1-3 bed homes for social and mid-market rent as well as supported accommodation.
A new build section will link to the Victorian school to extend the development.
In a statement the Association said: “Partick are proud of their role in saving tenements from demolition and remodelling commercial and public buildings to create more local housing and new businesses to sustain a diverse and cohesive community.”
Subject to planning approval work could get underway by October for completion in April 2018.
