Persimmon West Scotland has donated an incredible £28,506 to The Beatson Cancer Charity after a year of dedicated fundraising efforts by staff.

Throughout 2024, employees at the five-star builder’s West Scotland office organised a variety of events to support the cancer care centre in Glasgow. Highlights of the fundraising activities included a golf day, pub quiz, step challenge, and regular dress-down days at the regional head office.

Persimmon West Scotland managing director, Chris Logan, and sales director, Tara Fitzpatrick, visited The Beatson to present staff with a cheque for £28,506. The donation underscores the company’s commitment to supporting vital cancer care services in the community.

Staff at Persimmon West Scotland have also opted to choose The Beatson as their charity of the year for 2025, marking the third consecutive year of partnership with the cancer care charity.

Tara Fitzpatrick, Persimmon West Scotland sales director, said: “We are immensely proud of our team for their incredible efforts in raising £28,506 for The Beatson Cancer Charity this year. The Beatson’s work is truly life-changing, and it’s been an honour to support their vital services.

“This donation reflects the dedication and generosity of our staff, who have gone above and beyond to give back to the community. I’m excited to see how we can continue to support The Beatson in the future.”

Charlene Low, regional fundraising manager at The Beatson Cancer Charity, said: “We have loved working with Persimmon Homes West Scotland and cannot thank the team enough for their dedication and hard work in raising funds for patients and their families facing cancer.

“We are delighted to be working with the team for a third year running in 2025 as their chosen charity partner again.”
