Persimmon begins work on 86 new homes in Sauchie
Persimmon North Scotland has begun construction at its Willowfields site on Branshill Road in Sauchie, with plans to deliver 86 energy-efficient new homes for the local community.
The Willowfields development will offer a mix of three- and four-bedroom homes, tailored to first-time buyers, growing families, and downsizers.
Key features of the new Willowfields community include dedicated open spaces, a play area, and an innovative rain garden drainage system to manage surface water responsibly. Connecting routes through the site will link with the wider core path network, providing residents easy access to local walking and cycling paths.
Construction is now underway, with the first homes set to welcome residents by August 2025. The project is expected to bring significant economic benefits to the area, creating 31 direct jobs locally and 24 additional roles within the supply chain.
James MacKay, Persimmon North Scotland managing director, said: “We’re delighted to see work begin on the Willowfields development, which reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality homes that meet local needs.
“With sustainability and community connectivity at the heart of this project, Willowfields is set to become a thriving new neighbourhood in Sauchie.”
