Persimmon buys more land in Saltcoats to extend Arran View development
Persimmon West Scotland has purchased new land in Saltcoats to extend their Arran View development.
The homebuilder will deliver an additional 99 energy-efficient new homes in Saltcoats after striking a deal for the purchase of new land.
The land, which has detailed planning permission, will be brought to life by the homebuilder with the creation of a mixture of three- and four-bedroom homes. The construction of the new homes on the site will mark the third phase of Persimmon’s Arran View development.
The developer has already built 136 homes in the successful and sustainable Saltcoats community, which has proved popular with first-time buyers and working-age families.
Craig Moore, Persimmon West Scotland land director, said: “We are delighted to have concluded the purchase of new land within Sharphill, which will lead to the third phase of our Arran View development. Arran View has proved popular with our customers, especially working-age families and first-time buyers.
“We look forward to continuing to work in partnership with North Ayrshire Council to help attract people to live and work in the area.”
