In Edinburgh, Persimmon has started building 204 properties at its £24 million development named Station Mews at the historic St Augustine’s School site.

The builder said the site will feature a mix of homes, offering two, three, four and five-bedroom homes along with a range of two-bedroom apartments.

The development is set to launch on 28th March with the first properties to be completed in November 2015.

The development will also contribute Section 75 funding of £518,476 for educational purposes in the community and deliver 51 mixed tenure ‘affordable homes’.

The second development will see Persimmon Homes East Scotland deliver a total of 128 homes at the former Bellsdyke Hospital in Kinnaird Village after being given the green light by Falkirk Council in February.

The site will feature a collection of 93 semi-detached new Persimmon homes and 35 detached four, five and six-bedroom executive homes with a central open space surrounded by mature woodland developed by sister brand Charles Church.
