Persimmon on the hunt for good causes
Persimmon Homes North Scotland is on the lookout for charities and community groups in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire to benefit from its Community Champions scheme.
The company recently announced its re-entry into the Aberdeen market, starting with a new development in Blackdog, alongside other upcoming projects in the region.
Persimmon said it is committed to leaving a lasting legacy in the areas it operates, with the Community Champions scheme playing a key role in supporting local communities.
Every quarter, each of Persimmon’s regional businesses – including Persimmon North Scotland – donates up to £6,000 to support local charities, community groups, and good causes.
Established in 2015, the Community Champions scheme has contributed over £360,000 to Scottish organisations in the past five years, delivering meaningful support to countless community initiatives.
James MacKay, managing director of Persimmon North Scotland, said: “As we re-enter the Aberdeen market, we are determined to support the local community as much as possible.
“That’s why we’re encouraging local charities and community groups to apply to our Community Champions initiative.
“We’re proud of the positive difference the scheme has made to communities across the country and look forward to supporting local groups in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire in the future.”
Applying for the fund is quick and straightforward, taking less than five minutes to complete online. The scheme is open to all charities, good causes, and community organisations. Applications can be submitted by visiting Persimmon’s website.
