The advanced development is currently undergoing the last of the painting and decorating with the home scheduled to open next month.

The home will accommodate 80 bedrooms, with residents from both private and public sectors. Kincairney House will provide a range of features including a piano bar, private dining areas, hair salon, barbers, beauty parlour, cinema, drawing rooms, several lounges and chauffeur service.

Stuart McPherson, senior construction manager, said: “A complex demolition of the previous council building from the proximity of the building to the existing footpath, which was undertaken very professionally, allowed the construction procedure of the 84-bed care home to begin the construction phase.

“It’s great to see the finishing touches in place with the home scheduled to open next month. The location and design add a good focal point to the area.”
