Briar Homes is the new private homes arm of AS Homes (Scotland) Ltd - a family-run, Glasgow-based housebuilder with a successful 20-year track record in providing high quality and affordable social housing.

The Muirhead development will consist of three and four bedroom detached homes, designed by George Buchanan Architects.

Briar Homes launched its first ever development, Calderpark Gardens in Broomhouse, Glasgow in March this year, and almost 50% of homes in the initial sales release are already reserved off-plan.

Paul Kelly, managing director of Briar Homes Ltd, said: “To be granted planning permission for our first Briar Homes development in North Lanarkshire is a very exciting moment for us and we are looking forward to work beginning on site in Autumn 2018.
