Plans drawn up for 46 Aberdeen student apartments
The Holburn Street building, designed by architects Halliday Fraser Munro, will consist of 46 apartments.
The four-storey proposals have been revised, with the original plans previously looking to create a five-storey building instead.
A statement by the architects reads: “The proposed redevelopment of the site has been the subject of extensive pre-application discussions with Aberdeen City Council’s Planning Service. This has resulted in the scheme being amended and refined to reflect the comments received.
“This is an excellent location for student accommodation.
“The proximity to Aberdeen’s educational institutions, in particular Robert Gordon University, and the city centre of Aberdeen are appealing features for prospective tenants. The proposals aspire to deliver a high-quality development to address the wide corner of Holburn Street and Riverside Place, leading to the picturesque banks of the River Dee.”
