Plans have been submitted to Argyll and Bute Council for the construction of 12 wind turbines near Oban.
The proposed Corr Chnoc Wind Farm will comprise 12 wind turbines with a maximum blade tip height of 200 metres and a battery energy storage system (BESS).
The site is approximately two kilometres north-east of Kilmore and five kilometres east of the centre of Oban.
The section 36 planning application was received by the council in January and council officers are soon expected to set out their view.
The wind farm would provide more than 50 MW of electricity and operate for 50 years, according to the planning application.
