Plans to build a new apartment hotel on the site of the former Greaves store on Glasgow’s Sauchiehall Street have been lodged with councillors.
The planning application submitted by a Mr Joe Johal and Wellwood Leslie Architects would redevelop the existing building, which has been vacant since 2018.
The former Greaves building neighbours the former Victoria’s nightclub, which was destroyed by a fire in 2018.
The planning application said it seeks to “secure the long-term future of the Grade B listed building”, preserving the facade while implementing the “complete regeneration” of the interior.
