Plans have been submitted to Glasgow City Council for the development of flats and shops on a vacant site in Calton.

The three-storey building is proposed for an empty triangular plot located at 327 Gallowgate, beside shops near the junction with Barrack Street and across from the Morrison’s supermarket.
If approved, two retail units would be built on the ground floor and four flats above, each with two bedrooms, reGlasgow reports.
The application was lodged by Design Practice on behalf of Lissus Sub Contractors Ltd.
