The principal contractor will work on the Communities & Housing Investment Consortium (CHIC) Healthy Homes Framework, a four-year model which boasts 200 clients and over two million properties in the area using it.

The significant multi-million-pound project will see Procast Group carry out retrofitting across three separate workstreams to properties largely operated by councils and housing associations across the Midlands.

With the aim of lifting tenants out of fuel poverty, properties will be fully upgraded to the PAS2035 standard and fitted with an External Wall Insulation (EWI) system, new roofs, triple-glazed doors and windows, new cavity loft insulation, mechanical ventilation, renewable heating and hot water systems, battery storage, and photovoltaic (PV) panels.

The team from Procast will make the above installations and will also provide full design, build and maintenance services throughout the project.

Once completed the project will have a hugely positive impact on living conditions for tenants as well as help to reduce their energy bills.

The company, which currently employs more than 130 staff, carries out retrofitting work and multi-trade contracting projects across Scotland and the north of England.
