Promotions lay foundations for future growth at LMA
LMA Architects has announced a number of promotions to key positions from within its existing studio team.
Alan Law, Graham Whitters and Mark McHenry have been promoted to the position of associate with Daynah Hill taking up the role of practice manager. The promotions coincide with a restructure of roles at senior management level brought about by the continued growth of the business.
Alan will continue to specialise in the hotel sector and will take up a specific role managing client relationships, Graham will specialise in the healthcare and residential sectors and take up responsibility for design within the studio and Mark will specialise in the local authority sector and take responsibilities for business development.
Daynah Hill who joined the studio as a PA to the principal will take on the role as practice manager at an exciting time in the development of the studio as it plans a move to new premises to accommodate the expansion of the business.
Principal Stephen McGhee said: “I am delighted to announce these key promotions within the studio. All four have contributed to the development and growth of the business over the last few years and these new roles, aligned with a restructure at senior management level, will place the business in a strong position for further growth over the coming years. In addition to the project work and management responsibilities, all four have contributed to building and shaping the vibrant culture of the studio.”
He added: “Over the last few years the business has invested in the development of the team through training and coaching at all levels of the business. This has included investment in new apprentices as well as key appointments at senior level. I am particularly pleased that the investment in our team is not only bearing fruit but has also been recognised by us obtaining Investors in People Silver Standard and Investors in Young People accreditation along the way.”
