Public invited to hear feedback on Lerwick Lanes plans next month
The team from 7N Architects who are working on the Masterplan for the Lerwick Lanes area are welcoming the public along to three public sessions early next month.
The team will present the results of a recent online questionnaire, and are keen to get further feedback from anyone who may have views on the project. You’ll be able to hear more about the emerging Masterplan, which is due to be completed by the end of March.
Shetland Islands Council’s executive manager for housing, Anita Jamieson, said: “We’re very grateful to everyone who contributed to the survey, and this is the next stage in the team’s public consultation to identify potential options for this area of the town.
“This is very much a work in progress, so anyone who may have thoughts to share still has an opportunity to contribute to the process.”
The public sessions will take place on Monday 5th February at:
- 12pm–4pm: Islesburgh Community Centre, Radio Room – Drop-In
- 5pm–7pm: Lerwick Town Hall, Main Hall – Drop-In
- 7pm: Presentation at Lerwick Community Council meeting, Lerwick Town Hall, Old Council Chamber
