Renton firm CPR secures five-year Scotland Route Framework with Network Rail

A resurfacing and civils firm based in Renton, West Dunbartonshire, has secured a major framework with Network Rail to provide surfacing across its Scotland route for the next five years.

The Tier 1 contract was secured by Complete Paving Requirements (Scotland) Limited (CPR) which will provide surfacing services for both planned and reactive works for platforms, pathways, road access and car parks throughout the 320 station-strong Scotland Route including the Highlands.
The company has fewer than 50 employees and has worked within the rail sector since 2002.
Managing director William Black said of the award: “CPR has delivered surfacing for Network Rail and several other rail contractors for many years, winning our first rail tender in 2002. The Tier 1 contractor award is testament to the company’s operations and safety processes, which have been developed over many years. Our highly skilled workforce is very experienced in working in the Scottish climate and terrain and therefore we are able to secure and reliably deliver a prestigious framework such as this.”
The company has previously been awarded a framework by Network Rail to provide surfacing for reactive works on the Scotland Route in 2016.
