RFM appoints new construction and repair director for Scotland
Integrated property service provider RFM Group has further bolstered its RFM Scotland - Construction and Repair division with the appointment of Douglas Smith MRICS as director.
Douglas heads up the Scotland office based in Whitburn, near Edinburgh and will be responsible for growing the business in the region including a planned programme of recruitment to support the expansion.
With over 25 years’ experience in the industry, he joins RFM from Marshall Construction Ltd, where he spent 17 years as chief estimator and commercial lead. As a qualified Chartered Quantity Surveyor, his knowledge across all parts of the industry will be instrumental in helping to develop the business which forms part of the group’s turnkey service.
On his appointment, Douglas said: “I am delighted to be taking up the role as director for RFM Scotland – Construction and Repair. RFM Scotland – Construction and Repair focuses on four key areas, New Build, Refurbishment, Insurance and Small Works.
