Robertson has been named a key supplier on the national retrofitting scheme.

The group’s Energy Management division is one of 16 suppliers on the RE:FIT scheme, which is aimed at reducing energy bills in the public sector.

The scheme is being delivered in London by local government and outside London by Local Partnerships. It is anticipated that it will deliver up to £1.5bn of public sector energy upgrades and improvements via retrofit solutions.

Graeme Cameron, Robertson’s energy services director, said: “This framework is an important tool for the public sector to drive down energy bills and carbon emissions. We have a great deal of experience in this area, and have delivered numerous energy efficiency and generation projects for the public sector.

“We look forward to establishing strong relationships in London and with Local Partnerships to deliver meaningful and sustainable outcomes for contracting authorities.”

Andrew Coleman, corporate director of local partnerships, said: “The new RE:FIT framework offers public sector clients the opportunity to achieve savings, reduce energy consumption, and lower CO2 emissions.”
