Malcolm, who has 29 years’ experience in the residential sector, previously held the same role with Keepmoat Homes.

He said he was attracted by the ethos and customer focus of the family-owned business.

“The properties delivered by Robertson Homes are totally different to anything other developers are offering. They stand out in terms of interior design, standard and quality of finish and the overall streetscapes that are created so I wanted to be part of that delivery,” Malcolm said.

“I also really respect the managing director John Murphy. We worked together some years previously and I am really excited to be joining his team.

“I am looking forward to playing my part in the planned growth and address the challenges of resources and materials as the company continues to acquire sites across central and northern Scotland and the North East of England.”

When not on-site Malcolm can be found on the golf course or using his season ticket to watch Aberdeen.
