Robertson hosts construction themed family days at Aberdeen Science Centre
Families from across the north east are being invited to Aberdeen Science Centre for two days of construction themed activities this week.
Budding builders and their families will be able to test their skills in the Construction Simulator, take a lesson at the STEM Wizard School, attempt the Cube Challenge and dress up like construction workers in the ‘Construction Zone’.
Robertson, which is currently building the new Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC), which includes The Event Complex Aberdeen (TECA), has organised the two family days as part of the Year of Young People, to inspire the next generation of builders and engineers.
Gemma Gourlay, Robertson director of social sustainability, said: “This is a great opportunity for children and young people to learn about the construction industry through play and fun filled activities. From toddlers to older children and their parents and carers, there’ll be something for everyone at the Robertson Family Days, so come along and join in the construction fun.”
The family fun days will take place at the Aberdeen Science Centre on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th August 2018 from 10:30am – 3pm.
Tickets can be bought from the front desk on arrival. Standard entry fees applies.
