Robertson wins 10-year £1.5m FM contract with Perth & Kinross Council
Robertson Facilities Management has won a significant contract to provide services at Perth & Kinross Council’s largest office building.
The £1.5 million contract, which commenced in September, is for 10 years with the option of a further five-year extension.
The deal will see the business provide a host of services including mechanical and electrical maintenance, energy and utility management, records management and interior planting.
Pullar House is home to some 720 staff who work within the Revenue Department, Education & Children’s Services, Environment Services and Housing & Community Care.
Ian Gibson, managing director, Robertson Facilities Management, said: “This contract is a significant one for us and comes shortly after we secured another major public sector contract with the Scottish Prison Service.
“The business continues to grow across Scotland and we are also making significant inroads in the north of England, winning contracts with Northumbria Police, Newcastle College and Teesside University in recent months.”
The contract is being delivered via Infrastructure Managers Limited.
Des French, operations manager, IML, said: “We have been impressed with Robertson Facilities Management’s experience, coupled with their standards of service and value for money. We look forward to many successful years of working together.”
Pullar House is a partially listed building, constructed in 1865 for J Pullar & Sons and formerly the largest dye-works in the world. It was obtained by Perth & Kinross Council in 1999 and underwent a £10m internal conversion.
