A graduate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Ross has held senior engineering positions specialising in renewable generation, grid connections and transmission/distribution systems.

In his new post, Ross will lead a team delivering large-scale battery energy storage and solar PV projects.

A division of groundworks specialist Advance Construction, Advance Grid Solutions provides engineering, procurement and construction services to support the delivery of battery energy storage and solar PV systems.

The company recently completed the Camilla project, a 50MW battery energy storage site in Fife, which is one of the largest in Scotland.
