RSE promotes Connor Morton to MD of chemical and biological business
Ross-Shire Engineering (RSE) has promoted Connor Morton to managing director of the Chemical and Biological Treatment business unit, effective 1st September.
In his new role, Connor will oversee the division across the UK, focusing on driving further organic growth and exploring international acquisition opportunities. His leadership will be pivotal in advancing RSE’s modular build solutions, ensuring they meet evolving market needs with flexibility and innovation, and reinforcing RSE’s commitment to high performance and sustainable water technology solutions.
Connor’s promotion aligns with RSE’s dedication to being the best-performing partner in its sectors, ensuring that solutions are tailored to meet each client’s specific needs.
Connor began his career as an apprentice electrician 16 years ago, providing a notable example of career progression at RSE. He pursued an alternative path driven by a passion for practical experience and personal growth within the industry, taking on several roles spanning engineering, project delivery and leadership, ultimately leading to this appointment.
Connor said: “I am incredibly honoured and excited to step into the role of managing director of the Chemical & Biological business. My journey over the last 16 years, starting as an apprentice, has been full of exciting challenges and rewarding experiences. I’ve been extremely fortunate to work alongside amazing colleagues, and I’m grateful for the mentorship and support afforded to me. My passion is to continue nurturing our growth and providing career development opportunities across our team.
