Scot JCB Group opens 2025 apprenticeship recruitment
Construction, agricultural, and industrial machinery solutions provider Scot JCB Group has launched its 2025 Apprenticeship Recruitment Programme.
The programme invites ambitious individuals with a passion for engineering to gain hands-on experience in construction and agricultural machinery. With roles available in Aberdeen. Carlisle, Carnforth, Glasgow, Huntly, and Muir of Ord apprentices will learn from industry experts, gaining essential skills in servicing and maintenance while developing a comprehensive understanding of complex machinery.
“Our apprenticeship programme is more than a career pathway; it’s an investment in the future of Scot JCB Group and our industries,” said Robin Bryant, joint managing director of Scot JCB Group. “By providing an environment where apprentices can learn from experienced engineers and gain qualifications in engineering while attending college, we are not only securing the next generation of skilled talent but also fostering a culture of growth and support.”
The programme combines college-based training with on-the-job experience, allowing apprentices to work alongside Scot JCB Group’s highly skilled engineers. The curriculum is further enhanced by additional training opportunities, such as forklift operation and first aid certification, ensuring graduates are equipped with a comprehensive skill set.
Throughout their apprenticeship, participants will also train at Scot JCB Group’s dedicated training centre in Glasgow, gaining nationally recognised qualifications, including NVQ/SVQ certifications in Plant Maintenance and Land-Based Service Engineering.
Rhona Cameron, group HR director, added: “Our apprentices are at the heart of what we do. They join a supportive environment where learning, growth, and camaraderie are part of the daily experience. We are looking for motivated individuals who not only have a mechanical aptitude but also the desire to be part of a team.”
Scot JCB Group encourages prospective candidates to embrace this opportunity to ‘earn while they learn’ and embark on a fulfilling journey toward becoming skilled engineers.
Applications are now open, and details on the recruitment process can be found at www.scot-jcb.com.
