Andrew McArthur, operations director for Miller Homes Scotland West, commented: “We’re extremely proud of Colin for taking home a second Seal of Excellence Award win. It’s a remarkable achievement. We have an excellent culture of commitment, dedication and passion for delivering homes of the highest standard to our customers in the West of Scotland, and we’re excited for what next year’s NHBC Pride in the Job Award brings.”

Commenting on the Awards, Steve Wood, chief executive, NHBC said: “For more than four decades, Pride in the Job has underpinned NHBC’s purpose of raising standards in house building. The competition recognises the best site managers in the UK, showcasing best practice and rewarding excellence. We are celebrating the vital role site managers play in ensuring new homes are delivered on time, on safe sites and to exacting construction quality standards.

“NHBC’s Pride in the Job Awards are an important part of our work to help homeowners by driving improvements in construction quality. We believe the calibre of the site manager and the way they inspire their site team have the greatest influence on the quality of the finished home. Winning site managers tell us it motivates them to give a little extra and to strive for ever-higher standards in the houses they build.

“Congratulations to all the 2023 Pride in the Job Regional and Seal of Excellence winners. They are an inspiration and should be very proud of the quality of new homes they are creating.”

Moodiesburn Site Manager Colin McNeish from Miller Homes’ Stoneyetts Village development took home his second NHBC Pride in the Job Seal of Excellence Award. Colin is the only Glasgow-based site manager to scoop an award and one of two winners in the West of Scotland, leading the Stoneyetts Village site team to victory with an exceptionally high quality of work.

He was honoured to have been awarded a Seal of Excellence for the second year in a row and is delighted with his win.

Colin McNeish said: “It’s such an achievement to receive an NHBC Seal of Excellence award, and I’m so proud of the site team at Stoneyetts Village for all their hard work and determination in getting us here. This award means the world to me, and it’s such a pleasure to be alongside some of the best in construction.

“I would like to thank the wider Miller Homes team, our exceptional suppliers and our wonderful residents who make Stoneyetts Village such a welcoming community.”

A series of regional events are taking place throughout the UK to announce the Seal of Excellence and Regional Award winners and celebrate the achievements of the Quality Award recipients.
