A Barrhead-based company that specialises in major refurbishment and external wall insulation has scored an awards double, recognised for customer service excellence at the Glasgow Business Awards while being named UK Installer of the Year at the 2017 Insulated Render and Cladding Association (INCA) awards in Liverpool.

The two wins were announced at two separate awards ceremonies on the same night.

A family-run firm, A.C. Whyte has been operating for 43 years, over which time it has developed a reputation for consistent quality and exceptional customer service. Working with partners including a range of local authorities and housing associations throughout the country, A.C. Whyte’s work has successfully transformed local communities through major improvements to energy efficiency, leading to a significant reduction in residents’ fuel bills alongside improved health outcomes.

A.C. Whyte scooped the coveted Excellence in Customer Service Award at the Glasgow Business Awards in recognition of its efforts to put clients and residents at the heart of everything it does and, by taking a ‘right first time’ approach, its consistent ability to deliver service that exceeds expectation.

The company was simultaneously crowned UK Installer of the Year at the external wall insulation industry’s annual awards ceremony in Liverpool in recognition of its focus on promoting skills within the industry and its dedication to clients.

In presenting the award, the judges described A.C. Whyte as “a great company to inspire people into the industry” while also remarking that “their feedback scores are off the scale!”
