This includes highlighting the importance of adequate government reporting on the statistics of poor site health and its consequences, calling for education around worker health protection to be strengthened and how Scottish businesses can work to save lives in construction.

Robert Bradford and Lauren Miller offer their perspectives of health on site at BAM in the Civils and Construction sectors respectively, outlining how best practice is implemented on site and how worker health is protected and prioritised.

Whenever there is a risk of hazard exposure on site, health must come first; therefore, effective hazard control methods must be employed to ensure those on site are kept safe and healthy. Kevin Dupont will present multiple real life case studies covering a range of hazards on site, and the control solutions available which will protect health and achieve best practice.
