Claire Scott will be further bolstering both the expanding team and its national offering, bringing a wealth of knowledge and over 17 years’ experience from her time in the property industry.

Prior to joining Sequence, Claire headed up a variety of disciplines from the successful running of estate agency branches in the North and London, to working with nationwide housebuilders and developers, to provide data and land and site appraisals whilst working with Hometrack and Zoopla.

As new homes director, Claire will be responsible for building relationships with housebuilders and developers, delivering tailored advice to increase new homes sales across a number of Sequence brand’s branch and management networks. She will also be charged with developing and growing existing land and new homes teams, driving business partnerships across Sequence’s financial services and lettings business units.

“New Homes is a long-term growth area, with government policy and local authorities supporting aggressive new build strategies to increase the housing supply, plus continued  investment, specifically into the North,” said Claire. “I could see that there is a huge opportunity to work in partnership with housebuilders and developers across the North and Scotland, and help them meet the ever growing demands. Sequence is a highly respected business with a superb branch network which offered me an amazing opportunity to be part of this exceptional business.”

“The market is showing no signs of slowing down, and there is still a strong appetite for new build homes in the market,” added Claire. “The Help to Buy changes coming 1st April will mean the scheme will only be open to first-time buyers up to a regional capped price point, however, with the expertise we offer, early involvement in scheme planning can ensure we advise on product mix to maximise GDV. I am actively looking to add resource into our new homes department and hope to make some exciting announcements in the very near future.”

Claire Scott will be supported by Nicky Partridge as new homes manager for the North, whilst Leah Tattersall and Ben Smalley join the Allen & Harris team as new homes managers for Bristol, Bath and Swindon, and Cardiff respectively. The Land team has also had two recent additions - Jack Burchell extends his role as land executive for Barnard Marcus London to also cover Fox & Sons in Sussex, and Paul Quelch, who started with the business at the end of last year as land director for William H Brown, now heads up the Oxford-Cambridge area.
