Shepherd and Hardies to put best foot forward for CFINE at Aberdeen Kiltwalk

An eleven-strong team from the Aberdeen office of Shepherd and Hardies will undertake the Aberdeen Kiltwalk on June 2nd in aid of CFINE (Community Foods Initiative North East).

The generous work of the local charity and social enterprise, which supplies emergency food to those in need at a time when the cost of living crisis is at an all-time high, has inspired the property firms to take on this challenge.

The Aberdeen-based charity aims to improve health and wellbeing and the environment, tackle poverty and build resilience for and with disadvantaged, vulnerable, low-income individuals, families and communities in North East Scotland.

The two property firms are uniting to take on the 18-mile ‘Mighty Stride’ that stretches from Duthie Park to Bellfield Park in Banchory.

Team members, Shona Boyd and Giorgia Murray said: “We are delighted to once again support CFINE, a local charity that does vital work for those who need it most in the North East. Thanks must go to all our generous supporters who have helped us almost reach our fundraising target.”

All funds raised by the team will go quickly and directly to CFINE plus all eligible gift aid (up to 25% extra). This means that up to 125% of all funds raised go to CFINE. This is made possible thanks to The Hunter Foundation and Kiltwalk sponsors.
