Shepherd appoints associate to Ayrshire commercial department
Shepherd Chartered Surveyors has made a key appointment in its busy Ayrshire commercial department with the recruitment of Liam Loudon as an associate from rival Graham + Sibbald.
An experienced professional with a demonstrated history of working in the real estate industry, Loudon is an established real estate professional skilled in working with landlords, real estate appraisal, lease administration, valuation and property management.
A graduate of both Strathclyde University, where he studied geography/planning, and Aberdeen University, where he studied property, business and land economics, Loudon began his surveying career at Cushman & Wakefield before relocating to Axcess Financial Europe as estates surveyor then Graham + Sibbald, covering the West of Scotland.
He now joins a department run by Shepherd partner Kevin Bell and overseen by managing partner Graeme Stewart, who expressed his delight at Loudon’s appointment.
“Liam brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise,” he said. “This appointment strengthens our team of experts operating throughout Ayrshire and enhances our ability to service the evolving commercial property requirements of the dynamic local economy.”
Loudon added: “I’m delighted to join a leading firm of surveyors that continues to expand its operations and am pleased to be given an opportunity to play a part in the further expansion of these services throughout Ayrshire, a region with tremendous potential and an active commercial property market. I am fully committed to expanding our local commercial operation.”
