Shepherd graduates win Glasgow Caley awards
Two building consultancy graduates at Shepherd Chartered Surveyors have won awards in recognition of their academic achievements from Glasgow Caledonian University.
Carolyn Broatch, who works at Shepherd’s Dumfries office, has won both the Certificate of Excellence Prize for the Top Honours Student in BSc (Hons) Building Surveying and the Harry Madden Memorial Prize, whilst Mark Sutherland, from Shepherd’s Dundee office, has won the best overall Building Control Pathway award.
Congratulating the prizewinning pair of graduates, John Mackie, building consultancy partner at Shepherd, said: “We’re delighted that Carolyn and Mark’s academic achievements have been formally recognised in this way. Both are outstanding students who are already making significant contributions to our building consultancy department.

Both Broatch and Sutherland will be presented with their awards at Glasgow Caledonian University’s annual School of Engineering and Built Environment prize-giving ceremony on Wednesday 18thNovember.
