Sibbald shines for the Lighthouse Club
Sibbald Training has raised £740 for The Lighthouse Club thanks to fundraising challenges held during SCOTPLANT 2016.
Held at the Royal Highland Showground in April, the biannual event saw Sibbald Training exhibit and run an ‘Operators Challenge’ and ‘Kids Challenge’ allowing everyone of all ages to try their hands at the controls of a JCB 3CX Excavator and Hanix Mini Excavator respectively.
The challenges proved as popular as ever and raised £740 for The Lighthouse Club, Sibbald Training’s charity partner.
The Lighthouse Club is The Construction Industry Charity and provide financial and welfare support in times of need, to people encountering difficulties in the industry through injury or other circumstances, and their families.
Sibbald have over the last 10 years raised around £20,000 for The Lighthouse Club and will continue to promote this very worthwhile charity and provide charitable funds to them at every event and fundraiser they participate in.
Managing director David Sibbald said: “Our association with the Lighthouse Club has been ongoing for a very long time and to raise revenue for this good cause while having fun at the same time makes a great deal of sense to me.”
Sibbald are already set to attend SCOTPLANT 2018 at the same location when it arrives.
