Linda Meston has been promoted to Simply Care group managing director overseeing the Morar and Portland portfolios.

Scott Kearns has been promoted from commercial director to managing director of Simply Develop and Sam Lawrie is now head of commercial.

In another key appointment, Chris Dunn has joined as operations director.

The rapidly expanding business has opened an additional 640 new beds during 2022 throughout the UK, in addition to establishing its EMI and Learning Disabilities Business, Portland Care.

New site starts were also achieved throughout the UK including what will be their flagship home at St Andrews, Wimborne Minster, Exeter and Dunfermline. In another first for the group, its site in Dublin representing its first European venture has been acquired and is under construction.

A spokesman said: “We are delighted to announce these key appointments which will enhance and consolidate the team as we pursue our ambitious growth targets. We expect to open a further 400 beds in 2023 in addition to the construction of an additional 500 beds.

“The business is well established and is on track to perform or exceed the expectations we have set for our growth targets.”
