He is one of just 450 site managers from a field of more than 11,000 to have won a Quality Award in the first round of the NHBC’s Pride in the Job Awards 2020, which celebrate their 40th anniversary this year.

The flagship competition is dedicated to honouring site managers who achieve the very highest standards in housebuilding.

This award is particularly significant as it is the first of its kind to be won by the Scotland East Division since it was launched in August 2018.

David, who lives in Tullibody in Clackmannanshire and started with Bellway in 2007, said: “It was a lovely surprise and I am absolutely thrilled and delighted to be recognised by the NHBC for my work and being selected for such a prestigious award. I am especially pleased and proud of the wider Bellway East Scotland team and supply chain who have supported me in achieving this fantastic and without whom this would not be possible.”
