SPA to host workshop on Call Off Service
The Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA) are hosting a workshop on its recently launched Call Off Service.
The workshop is designed to give partners a detailed overview of the service, distinguish the benefits to a partner organisation and provide partners with an opportunity to raise any questions in the format of a roundtable discussion.
Launched in December 2021, the Call Off Service which forms part of the free-of-charge added value services programme has supported partners to procure over £3.3 million in goods and services.
The type of projects the service has helped procure include gas auditing, clerk of works, kitchen and bathroom replacements, adaptation works, asbestos removal and more.
The purpose of the Call Off Service is to assist partners with the process of procuring minor projects by extracting the time-consuming elements saving partners time and resources that can be allocated to other key projects.
In providing the service SPA will work in collaboration with partners to identify the most appropriate route to market, develop the call off documentation and run the mini competition on the partner’s behalf.
The partners that have used the service have recognised the simplicity, the time and costs that have been saved and the extensive support that is offered throughout the process. The service is tailored to meet the needs of each individual partner and their project-specific requirements. Complemented by the confidence that the processes are thorough and successfully executed by using the expertise of their qualified team.
The workshop takes place on Tuesday 23rd August 2022 at the SPA Office 6 Deer Park Avenue, Fairways Business Park, Livingston EH54 8AF. There are 2 sessions for the workshop 10am-12pm & 1pm-3pm.
