An online consultation event, which took place last night, was arranged to provide a forum for the general public and any other interested parties to make comments in respect of its proposals, prior to the formal submission of an application for planning permission to Glasgow City Council.

The consultation saw Springfield Properties outline its intentions for an area of ground designated as ‘white land’, where no specific end-use case has been identified in the Glasgow City Development Plan.

Indicative plans for two apartment blocks have been announced, fronting a parking court and private gardens/amenity space. According to the firm, the brick-clad blocks will adopt the Glasgow Standard.

A further opportunity to make representations to Glasgow City Council on the plans will be available following formal submission of the planning application.
