Stirling Developments opens doors to new café at Calderwood development
Stirling Developments, the lead developer of Calderwood in West Lothian, has opened the doors to its latest community asset ‘The Calderwood Larder’ last month.
The café is being run by The Larder Cook School, a local social enterprise based in Livingston. The Larder Cook School aims to encourage and support young people to learn to cook, both to develop their own skills and to encourage them into jobs in the hospitality industry.
Councillor Dave King attended the official opening and conducted the opening ceremony in the glorious sunshine.
As the village grows, further community facilities including shops, businesses and a new primary school will be delivered.
Stirling Developments is a dynamic property development company based in Dunfermline with expertise in masterplanning, architecture, engineering and project delivery. Phase 3 of the development is now underway and is set to be the most exciting phase yet, with plans to deliver additional business opportunities, village centre and a new primary school.
Stirling Developments submitted an application for Planning Permission in Principle for Broomhall in south-west Dunfermline at the end of 2016, where it anticipates development consent for 2,450 homes.
