Story Homes to provide enhanced customer experience with new tech
Story Homes has invested in a series of technological improvements, both online and in its marketing suites.
The housebuilder has made a number of recent improvements to its website, including the addition of new features and functionality to its exclusive kitchen designer tool.
The advanced tool allows customers to design their perfect kitchen, selecting cupboard styles and colours, handles and worktops as well as appliances, splashbacks, sinks and flooring in a typical 3, 4 or 5-bedroom property.
Hayley Blair, sales & group marketing director at Story Homes, said: “We understand the busy lives of our customers and we have worked hard to develop our website offering to ensure their homebuying journey is as convenient as possible.
“Our state-of-the-art kitchen designer tool allows customers to design their dream kitchen from the comfort of their own home. Once their selections have been made, customers can share a link with their sales executive, helping reduce the length of choices appointments and freeing up valuable time for our customers.”
The kitchen designer tool sits within the recently launched customer account area of the Story Homes website, where customers can add plots to their ‘favourites’, see the build stages of a typical Story home and understand the buying journey.
Ms Blair added: “We recognise the value that technology can bring to our customers, and as such, we are committed to continuously reviewing our digital offering. We have recently made a number of exciting updates to our website to improve usability and experience, including a house type comparison tool and the addition of 360⁰ videos and furniture on our floorplans, helping customers visualise their new home.”
As well as a host of new website features, Story Homes has taken strides to incorporate cutting-edge technology into its marketing suites.
Back in 2020, the builder introduced interactive tablets to each of its marketing suites, offering customers the freedom to peruse information about Story homes at their own pace. Following positive feedback and to further enhance the customer journey using the latest digital technology, the housebuilder has now taken this a step further by installing interactive 65” screens across its marketing suites.
The screens give instant access at customers’ fingertips to information about the development and the homes available, as well as 360 tours and the Kitchen Designer tool. Following a successful trial, the screens will be a permanent feature in all new marketing suites.
Ms Blair said: “Buying a new home is one of the biggest and most important purchases someone can make, and our goal is to ensure all buyers have a memorable experience with Story Homes. Our investment in technology allows us to guide our customers through each step of their purchasing journey with ease, providing a seamless and memorable experience for our buyers.”
