Supplier event for new £12bn UK Facilities Management Marketplace framework

facilities-managementCrown Commercial Service (CCS) is to host an event to update prospective suppliers from across the UK on the government’s new Facilities Management Marketplace framework.

With up to 160 spaces available on the framework - which will include a new regional lotting structure - small and large businesses will have the opportunity to work with hundreds of public sector customers.

The event will provide suppliers with an update on the latest developments with the new framework, including digitized bidding and the innovative steps being introduced to maximise opportunities for SMEs and simplify the buying process for customers.

It will be held at Manchester Conference Centre from 09:30 to 13:00 on October 25.

For those suppliers who cannot attend in person, the event will be live-streamed via Webinar, giving all interested companies the opportunity to find out more and ask questions related to the strategy.

CCS plans to issue a contract notice for the new framework in December 2017, with the framework going live in 2018. It is anticipated that government will spend up to £12bn through the framework.

The objective is to deliver a comprehensive facilities management service, including:

  • Hard and Soft Facilities Management
  • Security
  • Computer-Aided Facility Management / Integrator
  • Linen & Laundry

  • Defence-specific FM
  • CCS said it supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services.
