The Supply Chain Sustainability School is a virtual learning platform around sustainability, with the aim to upskill those working within, or aspiring to work within, the built environment sector.

Robertson has become a Platinum signatory of The Plant, Tools and Equipment Charter which aims to help the UK’s built environment reduce greenhouse gas emissions as well as improve air quality using sustainable plant and equipment.

Building on Gold accreditation achieved in 2023, Platinum accreditation recognises Robertson Group, illustrating the breadth of sustainable practices implemented across the family of businesses which were assessed against four commitment areas: Minimum Standards; Engagement; Awareness and Education; and Innovation.

Working closely with its supply chain partners to decarbonise site operations and ensure consistent reduction of emissions, Robertson was able to demonstrate its commitment to the Charter in a number of ways. These included using low-emission HVO fuel for plant equipment, powering Robertson Group projects and offices with 100% renewable energy tariffs and trialling new technologies such as renewable generation on-site, hybrid generators and hydrogen technologies.
