Lintel Trust, the small but resilient charity specialising in housing community support, is thrilled to announce the return of the Great Big Lintel Jam Night, a fun-filled night of live music, networking, and fundraising for community projects improving lives.

The Lintel Jam Night started in 2014 and ran at The Ferry until 2019, before everything changed…

These annual events had raised over £10k in funding for social housing community projects, released in a series of small grants of between £1k and £2k per project.

It’s back!

This year it will happen at The Record Factory, Byres Road, Glasgow on Thursday 16th November from 6.30 pm until late.

Tickets priced £15 will be available at the door or for £12 if ordered in advance on Eventbrite.

Bringing together music enthusiasts from the housing and construction sectors, fostering connections and celebrating the spirit of community, we are raising funds for mental health support initiatives in the city while paying tribute to a well-loved colleague and friend.

The Sensational David Bowie Tribute Band headlining in 2018

Alasdair McKee - highly respected director of Glenoaks HA and prominent advocate of social justice - tragically passed away last November, having been both a frequent performer at and organiser of the previous Lintel Trust musical events.

This gig honours and is dedicated to Alasdair and provides a unique platform to:

  • Network with Peers: Connect with colleagues, partners, and professionals in the housing sector in a social setting.
  • Embrace Live Music: Boogie to the beats of several live bands, showcasing the rich musical talent within the wider housing community.
  • Build Relationships with workplace teams or bring friends and family.
  • Enjoy Good Food and Refreshments: A hot buffet will be provided from 6.30pm as well as a well-stocked bar.

With the live music kicking off at 7pm, and a live DJ from 11pm, dance to the sounds of The Kay Family, Aye Candy, The Regenerators and the Blue Hyenas.

Construction companies, consultants and others can support the gig in two ways:

Circulate details in staff newsletters, via intranet, etc. - tickets priced £15 will be available at the door or for £12 if ordered in advance.

Or you could offer corporate sponsorship or raffle prizes. We would appreciate as many sponsors as possible to boost income from ticket sales and make meaningful donations to the two charities we have chosen to support this year:
