Surplus Property Investments submits plans to build flats in Glasgow
Surplus Property Investments has submitted plans to build an apartment block containing 20 two-bedroom homes in the Yorkhill district of Glasgow at the corner of Gilbert Street and Teviot Street.

If approved, the building would have five storeys with a rooftop amenity space and a lower ground floor car parking area with 13 spaces. There would be storage space for 34 bikes.
A design statement submitted to Glasgow City Council with the application reads: “The development proposal will create a new coherent urban block which complements the existing urban grain of the area.”
Thirty-four flats are already under construction next to the site, ReGlasgow reports.
The application is pending assessment by city planners.
