The JR Group boosts Christmas spirit with festive charity drive
Construction firm The JR Group donated more than 50 boxes of vital supplies to Glasgow-based homelessness charity Kindness Homeless in time for Christmas.
The Paisley-based construction group collected supplies such as clothing, toiletries, sweets and gifts for the charity’s Christmas shoebox appeal, which provides care packages to people experiencing homelessness across Glasgow supporting them over the winter months.
The team also donated more than 800 selection boxes to charities and organisations across Scotland, providing a treat to groups across the country, including, The Wheatley Group, Elderpark Housing Association in Govan, Williamsburgh Nursery in Paisley and Street Soccer Scotland.
These bumper donations were distributed earlier this week by The JR Group elves, who hand-delivered the selection boxes to each group – helping to provide some extra cheer this Christmas.
Gayle O’Hear from The JR Group said: “Supporting local charities and groups in the communities which we build has always been a priority for us, so it is great to be able to give a boost to so many organisations with our selection box deliveries and our shoebox donations to Kindness Homeless.
“I’d like to thank every member of our team, our sub-contractors and suppliers, who kindly donated these vital items this year.”
