Thomas & Adamson to fit-out Glasgow and Edinburgh’s newest grade A offices
Construction and property consultancy Thomas & Adamson (T&A) has been appointed by law firms Shepherd & Wedderburn and Morton Fraser to deliver over 36,000 sq. ft of commercial fit-outs in Edinburgh and Glasgow city centre.
T&A will provide project and cost management services for prime office accommodation in prestigious Haymarket Edinburgh and 1 West Regent Street, Glasgow.
Work will begin mid-year on Shepherd and Wedderburn’s new premises within One Haymarket, the latest mixed use regeneration development in the heart of Edinburgh city centre consisting of 380,000 sq. ft. of Grade A office, hotel accommodation, shops, and leisure facilities. The project will see T&A deliver 30,000 sq. ft of Category B fit-out spread over two floors of the seven-storey development, working towards the highest sustainability standards in keeping with the firm’s commitment to be net zero for carbon emissions by 2030.
The Glasgow development will see 6,440 sq. ft. of Category B fit-out on behalf of Morton Fraser, with new formal client meeting rooms, informal meeting space and collaboration space for staff.
