Tom McEwan named new development manager at hub South West
Development partner hub South West Scotland has grown its experienced in-house team with the appointment of Tom McEwan as development manager.
Working with public sector participants to develop and deliver community facilities across Lanarkshire, Ayrshire and Dumfries & Galloway, hub South West Scotland leads on the growth of major developments across education, social housing, health, emergency services and community projects.
Bringing over thirteen years of experience to the role, Tom has specialised in the management of large-scale commercial and residential projects and most recently spent three years at Ryden LLP as Senior Project Manager. During this time he was responsible for developing an impressive portfolio of projects, including the delivery of Glasgow’s riverside development, Buchanan Wharf, which comprises 70,000 sq ft Grade A office space and 324 modern Build-to-Rent apartments.
Prior to this, Tom worked for Welsh property consultancy Expedite as well as Bron Afon Community Housing and Newport City Homes, where his experience spanned a variety of specialist areas, including surveying, development and asset management.
