Trades Training School launches five-week bathroom fitting course
Trades Training School in Edinburgh is offering a new five-week Bathroom Fitting course to cover all aspects of plumbing and tiling.
On the course, students will not only learn how to create a room plan but also how to expertly decommission the old bathroom and install and commission the new one with maximum efficiency.
The course is designed and led by Trades Training School founder, Antony O’Neil, who brings over two decades of hands-on expertise from sister company ERE Developments, where he has mastered the art of bathroom design. His wealth of experience has been skilfully woven into the fabric of this course, ensuring students explore the full spectrum of bathroom design.
The course covers:
- Designing and planning a bathroom
- Preparing scaled drawings
- Decommissioning a bathroom – hot and cold water
- Preparation of pipework and fabrication techniques
- Understanding and applying techniques for cold water installation and maintenance techniques
- Tiling, including: walls, floors, tiling around windows/reveals, using adhesives, applying grouts, tile cutting, trim work, siliconing
