Trio of firms named on Scottish building contractor of the year shortlist
MacLeod Construction, Richard M MacKenzie and Riddick & Son are the shortlisted nominees to be named Building contractor of the year: Scotland at the 2021 Construction Awards of Excellence.
Sponsored by principal sponsor Payapps, the awards ceremony will be held online on April 15.
The independent judging panel met and considered all entries made across the eleven categories. After lengthy deliberation and discussion, the panel was pleased to shortlist the following (shown in no particular order):

Lord Andrew Stunell, chair of the Judging Panel, said: “The award nominations were of an exceptionally high standard and my fellow judges and I were left with extremely difficult decisions to make. All companies and individuals who have made it on to the shortlists should be very proud; they made quite an impression on the judges - some of the leading figures in the sector across the UK - with their expertise, commitment and innovation.”
