Highland housebuilder Tulloch Homes has called upon local residents to name two brand new sites in Inverness.

The first is the newly approved Riverford development in Conon Bridge, comprising 160 private and affordable homes, including bungalows. As an extension to the existing Conon Bridge North development, there will be a range of two, three and four bedroom efficient homes available, with strong connections to local transport links, Ben Wyvis primary school and plenty of local facilities.

Secondly, is the next phase of the Fairview Meadows development in Slackbuckie, Inverness. Comprising 98 private and seven affordable homes, the next phase will include a range of contemporary three and four bedroom homes which benefit from scenic Highland surroundings and an abundance of local amenities, while only a 10 minute drive from Inverness city centre.

Construction for both developments is expected to start this spring with homes available for sale shortly after.

Locals are encouraged to submit their suggestions before 14th March to be considered. The winning name will then appear on the development itself, as well as all branding, sales and marketing materials. Plus, the creator of each winning suggestion will receive a £100 voucher for a local restaurant.

Kieran Graham, managing director of Tulloch Homes, part of the Springfield Group, said: “As we celebrate our 100th year in the industry, we’re proud to continue building high-quality homes that reflect the character and heritage of the communities we are part of.

“A development’s name should capture the identity of its surroundings, whether that’s inspired by local history, nature, or landmarks. That’s why we’re inviting the people who live in Inverness and Conon and know it best to help us shape the identity of these exciting new developments in Conon Bridge and Slackbuie.

“We’re looking forward to seeing the creative and meaningful suggestions that come forward. This is a great opportunity for people to leave a lasting mark on their local area, and we can’t wait to see the winning names come to life in these new neighbourhoods.”

To enter, please complete the following form ensuring submissions are sent by 14th March.

If more than one person suggests the winning name, the winner will be randomly selected. The chosen name is subject to approval by Tulloch Homes.
