A Section 75 agreement has also been concluded with Highland Council.

Lynne Boyd, sales director of Tulloch Homes, said: ”The pandemic and lockdown has clearly influenced more homebuyers to seek a rural environment and more space. This includes space to work from home as well as easy access to the countryside, which is a feature of our various locations.

“Only one home remains to be sold from the first phase of 24 at Carrbridge and the planning approval enables us to go forward with the larger phase.”

Woodlands, off the main street at the south end of the village, seven miles from Aviemore, has the rural touch with external timber features and is environmentally friendly with air source heat pumps.

Ms Boyd indicated that Tulloch’s market research has identified homebuyers gravitating more towards edge of town/city or rural locations in their inclinations.

“Covid-19 has focused people on having extra internal space in which to work, and space outside for family leisure time”, she added.

Tulloch Homes currently has developments in Conon Bridge, Muir of Ord, several in Inverness, and Glenrothes, Fife. New developments, with planning approval, are in the pipeline at Kirkhill, Culbokie, Aviemore and Stirling.
