TÜV SÜD Dunbar Boardman appoints new MD
Vertical transportation and façade access consultancy TÜV SÜD Dunbar Boardman has appointed Paul Hastings as managing director.
Dunbar Boardman, which has offices in Glasgow, as well as eight others across the UK, has created to the role to support the continuing growth of TÜV SÜD across the UK, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Hastings takes over day-to-day management of the business from Allan McGill, divisional Director of TÜV SÜD’s Real Estate Division, allowing McGill to refocus on his broader responsibilities for both the vertical transportation and MEP parts of the UK real estate business.
Hastings has over 30 years of experience in the vertical transportation sector. He joined TÜV SÜD Dunbar Boardman in 2011 and was most recently regional director, where he was responsible for the Central England offices in Birmingham, Warrington, Sheffield and Leeds.
Allan McGill, divisional director of TÜV SÜD’s Real Estate Division, said: “Over the last three decades, Paul has built-up a very extensive knowledge of the vertical transportation and façade access sectors. His experience will further strengthen our capabilities, helping us to remain at the forefront of the European market and further expand our growth in Asia and the Middle East as part of the TÜV SÜD international network.”
